“Therefore the redeemed of the LORD shall return, and come with singing unto Zion; and everlasting joy shall be upon their head:
they shall obtain gladness and joy; and sorrow and mourning shall flee away” (Isaiah 51:11).

Republica: An Idea Whose Time Has Come.

by Rick Tyler

There is a well known saying that "you can’t fight an idea whose time has come." Without question, ideas can be extremely powerful...and can even take on a life of their own under certain circumstances and conditions. A timely idea which meets an urgent need of the hour, can quickly become a flash point around which multitudes of adherents and supporters can rally and organize toward the fulfillment of a common cause. It is also a fact that, because of the intangible nature and essence of a mere idea, those who oppose or are threatened by it are not readily capable of eradicating or destroying the idea in question. In sum, the power of an idea is well understood by the collective forces that desire to impose a totalitarian agenda upon our nation and planet. These cunning manipulators have used an ongoing variety of subversive ideas to foment their own dastardly game plan. They have also employed a host of unethical and abusive tactics in their unrelenting campaign to suppress truth in the general sense, and more specifically, information which might constitute the potential for the spawning of ideas that could serve to liberate untold millions from their pathetic bondage to lies and deception.

The material that you are reading has been designed for the purposes of introducing and extrapolating upon what amounts to an exceedingly potent idea. In a word, the idea can be referred to as "Republica." It is an idea that is fraught with vast and inspiring implications. It is also a very dangerous idea...because it embodies a sequence of principles and strategies, which if properly put into action, could literally alter the course of history! You see, due to the fact that truth has for so long been rejected and shunned by such vast multitudes, we are now at a point of pivotal significance relative to the question of whether or not any vestige of freedom will survive the growing onslaught and avalanche of governmental tyranny. The enemies of individual liberty have done a masterful job in their relentless quest for global power. For generations they have energetically pursued the fulfillment of a comprehensive agenda that is designed to relegate the remaining masses of humanity to the status of veritable serfs on the global plantation. Their diligence has been greatly rewarded as they have made quantum leaps of progress during the past several decades of activism and implementation. The end is actually in sight for these would-be enforcers of the Satanic New World Order. They are getting so close to complete, iron fisted dominance and control over their prospective subjects, that they can surely taste victory as they hungrily lick their chops. (The illusion of freedom in today’s world is merely that...a figment of the imagination. You are "free" only to the extent that you cooperate with the ruling power. Should you dare to offer up tangible resistance against the massive power structure you will be summarily squashed by the hired guns that function as enforcers of the New World Order.) What the evil power is unaware of, however, is this forthcoming idea called Republica...a phenomenon that could very well cause the ruthless juggernaut of globalist tyranny to be summarily halted in its tracks!

James 1:27 reads: "Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, to visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world." When considering this verse one might ponder how it is possible to remain "unspotted" from the world. After all, the filth and debauchery are seemingly all pervasive as we seek to survive within this world system. Is there any answer to the quagmire and dilemma of how we should attain sanity in an otherwise insane set of circumstances? Like never before, we are being surrounded and suffocated by a highly sophisticated, yet detestably wicked brand of corruption. There just seems to be no avenue of escape available to those who loathe and deplore the extent to which Satanic power has insinuated itself into seemingly every nook and cranny of our culture and society. Regardless of which component of our modern system is being examined, it all fails to pass the litmus test of even basic decency. The media, the world of entertainment, the educational system, Madison Avenue, both commerce and finance, the religious world...all of this and so much more today simply reeks of an unabashedly evil countenance and character! With the passing of each day, it seems as though a greater and greater toll is taken upon those who remain within the debilitating grasp and clutches of what we are describing. It is only a matter of time before this syndrome of cancerous cultural rot succeeds in making its indelible impress upon all who remain within the sphere of its power and influence. Psalm 11:3 says "If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do?" The obvious answer to this question is that the foundations must be rebuilt! But how can this task be undertaken in the midst of a system such as the one we have been describing?

For all intents and purposes, it is impossible to reform the unreformable or to save the unsaveable! Many sincere yet misguided persons have fallen into the trap of trying to revive and reform that which simply needs to be pronounced dead and be buried. So much of what constitutes and comprises our modern world is, quite plainly, of no redeeming value. In other words, we would be much better off if it would simply cease to exist. Not understanding this fact, however, many concerned parties have diligently sought to effect positive transformation of what amounts to useless baggage. What we truly need is an all out purge wherein all the wood, hay, and stubble as is spoken of in Scripture, is consumed and burned out of existence. We can be certain that God is going to perform just such an exercise in eradication of all that offends him throughout this present world system. In the Bible we read in Genesis 19 of how God rained down fiery destruction upon Sodom and Gomorrah because of the extreme level of wickedness that had become synonymous with the mere mention of their names. We also are told in Genesis 11 of a time when men joined forces in an effort to build a tower whose top would reach unto heaven. God intervened in this situation, as well, and he thwarted man’s evil design and purpose. In keeping with these historical accounts and the profile they render of God’s desire to maintain certain boundaries within which man should operate, we can logically anticipate that a noteworthy instance of dramatic divine intervention awaits our planet in the not too distant future. Man has gotten way too big for his britches, as the saying goes, and is setting himself up in a major way for a great and tumultuous fall!

In modern theological circles, teaching abounds to the effect that we are on the verge of witnessing cataclysm and catastrophe that will signify the forthcoming end of the world. Countless books have been authored and films produced that portray a scenario wherein current happenings throughout the world supposedly mesh with Bible prophecy to herald the end of time and history. This doctrinal phenomenon of the alleged fulfillment of various Biblical doomsday paradigms has become prevalent to the point of virtual saturation. It is interesting to discover that this entire doctrinal perspective is based and rooted upon profound presuppositional error that, unfortunately, has become solidified and galvanized in a great many of the dominant religious institutions of the day. It is not our purpose to delve into a thorough and comprehensive analysis of the premillenial vs. postmillenial doctrinal controversy at this time. What we will do, however, is look briefly at the errant nature of two major presuppositions that comprise much of the foundation of contemporary premillenial theology.

The prophecy teaching that dominates the theological landscape of the modern church world is tied inextricably to the presumption that those who are called Jews in the world today are the actual, bloodline descendants of the Israelite people of the Old Testament. The formation of the present state of Israel in 1948 via a decree from the United Nations is viewed as a pivotal and watershed event in the unfolding of Bible prophecy. Premillenial theologians are prone to believe that this event somehow represents the blossoming of the fig tree spoken of by Jesus in Matthew 24:32. It is quite amazing that such mass numbers of otherwise intelligent and educated individuals could stumble into an error as profound as this baseless presupposition that the Jews are the legitimate heirs of the Abrahamic covenants. The fact of the matter is that they are an entirely different people than who they claim to be and are, in fact, an extension of the imposters spoken of in Revelation 2:9 and Revelation 3:9. Modern Jewry in no way fulfills the prophecies in Genesis 48, 49 and elsewhere regarding Israel in the latter days. It is also of great significance that among their intelligentsia, they admit that they are descended from a people of Turkish Mongolian stock known historically as the Khazars. A fascinating treatise regarding this suppressed history of the Jews has been rendered in the book The Thirteenth Tribe written by a Jewish author named Arthur Koestler. An overwhelming body of evidence, both Biblical and historical, completely eliminates the possibility that these people called Jews in the world today are the true descendants of Old Testament Israel! Of course, once this fact is established, the doctrinal house of cards of the expositors of premillenialism comes tumbling down in a gargantuan heap! For obvious reasons of pride, ego, and a deep seated fear of forfeiting their position and status in the religious community, these supposedly diligent Bible scholars remain utterly unwilling to even so much as consider admitting their gross and unconscionable error.

The second major fallacious presupposition of the contemporary Christian world that we intend to address, is the notion that the prophecies of Matthew 24, Luke 21, and The Revelation are all yet to be fulfilled. The errant presumption of the premillenial camp is that these well-rehearsed prophecies are on the verge of coming to fruition right at this present juncture of history in the unfolding circumstances and events being played out amongst the people of the Middle East. The false interpretations of current events are the stock and trade of a large stable full of self appointed prophecy prognosticators. Never mind the facts...their minds are already made up. They have managed to develop their false teaching endeavors into lucrative commercial enterprises, and they aren’t about to allow anyone to kill the goose that lays golden eggs! When we look at Scripture for what is plainly and simply stated, it isn’t difficult to begin seeing the massive inconsistencies in the premillenial teachings. For instance, a mere two verses beyond the passage we already alluded to regarding the blossoming of the fig tree, we read these words spoken by Jesus. Matthew 24:34 reads, "Verily I say unto you, this generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled." And what generation was Jesus speaking of that would not pass prior to the fulfillment of "these things?" It is quite clear and obvious that "this generation" refers to the one he was speaking to and in the midst of. Of course, the false teachers of premillenial doctrine aren’t about to let the truth get in their way. They can be relied upon to continue bending, twisting, and contorting Scripture in a vain attempt to make their square peg fit into a round hole. Another major problem for the modern prophecy teachers are the words of scripture found in Matthew 10:22-23 wherein we read, "(22) And ye shall be hated of all men for my name’s sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved. (23) But when they persecute you in this city, flee ye into another: for verily I say unto you, Ye shall not have gone over the cities of Israel till the Son of man be come." Here again, the Bible is plainly stating that these occurrences, which were indisputably of that time frame, would precede an event marking the transition from one era to another. Nevertheless, the modern prophecy teachers seek to force feed these passages into their warped, latter day interpretations.

Once a person is enlightened as to the true identity of Israel, as well as the fact that Matthew 24, Luke 21, and the book of The Revelation are dealing in large part with events that have already transpired, the end of the world hype begins to lose much of its momentum and power. This happens to be a very critical part of the overall equation with which we are dealing due to the fact that when an individual breaks free from an apocalyptic mind set, they are suddenly confronted with the realization that they have a solemn responsibility toward their progeny, to preserve a civilization worth living in.

The false eschatology of the modern Christian world has evolved into a massive and gigantic excuse to let civilization and culture go to the dogs. Trying to promote and establish Biblical principles in the midst of this sinful world system has been likened by one prominent evangelical figure to polishing brass on a sinking ship. The prevailing attitude has become one of "why even bother getting too involved in seeking to alter secular affairs since first of all, the present reality is the unavoidable fulfillment of prophecy taking place before our very eyes, and secondly, because the world is scheduled to come to an abrupt end in the very near future."

It is simple to understand how a glaring absence of motivation derives from the supposition that defeat is both imminent and inevitable. Of course, the counter argument is made that in the ultimate analysis, God’s people win the final battle at the time of the return of Christ. As we have already pointed out, however, this longed for grandiose showdown between the forces of good and evil, commonly referred to as the battle of Armageddon, is actually not something that is likely to come to fruition any time soon. The fact that mass numbers of misled professing Christians maintain a fervent belief that such an event is imminent and unavoidable in no way changes the truth regarding the subject in question. What has resulted from such widely adhered to belief is a mass exodus of retreatism from the legitimate Christian doctrine of dominion and occupation. That lamentable phenomenon has been taking place for so long that the world is presently teetering on the brink of being delivered into total depravity and the inevitable catastrophe that will follow. Obviously, something must be done on behalf of a Remnant of God’s people in order for there to be an instigation of the process whereby the present tide of destruction is reversed.

It is becoming virtually impossible to exist according to Christian tenets as are set forth in scripture. That which passes for Christianity in our present world is, in reality, a gross perversion of what the word of God stipulates and demands. It is actually "against the law" to practice the true Biblical Christian faith in its undiluted, uncompromised form. Even the recognized, structured "Christian" denominations are quick to denounce and encourage the destruction of anything even approaching the genuine article. Such institutions are the great counterfeit and they will go to any length to eradicate that which threatens to expose them for the vile manifestation of corruption they have become. The light of truth has been suppressed for so long that darkness and evil surround us on every side. Lies and multi-layered deception permeate every institutional structure of our modern world system. The only answer, in the temporal context, for today’s remnant is embodied in Revelation 18:4 which reads "...Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues." Yes, the current world system is utterly riddled and terminally infested with wicked corruption. God will most assuredly bring about systematic destruction of all the perversion and filth that man has so methodically ordered and established. We cannot save such putrefying cultural rot, nor should we even want to! The remnant of God must seek to remove itself from the infectious and debilitating effects of the Godless system that has become entrenched to the point that its cancerous poison has thoroughly metastasized itself throughout the entire body politic.

In a bygone era, our ancestors always had the option at their disposal to seek out a new frontier where they could escape from the oppression of the day. New lands and virgin territories were available on a somewhat plentiful scale. The risks, dangers and uncertainties were great...but so was the reward once the initial leap of faith was taken. Without question, journeying to a distant land for purposes of establishing a new colony was one of the most favorable options available to our forbears. As we have already established in considerable detail, our options for colonization are almost non-existent in this present time frame. There is simply no new and distant frontier that would put us out of the reach of our oppressors. And yet, the colonization approach is still the only modality wherein we can outwork the strategy of seeking to come out from the midst of the debauched world system. Additionally, we would be remiss to not recognize that, in spite of the dramatic inroads which evil has made into every aspect of our surrounding civilization, America nevertheless remains a land of unequalled proportions in terms of the manner in which God has poured out his blessings and placed a special calling upon her. With these reasons in mind it becomes quite apparent that the most logical strategy for survival would involve an internal colonization agenda. What a people might do is focus on a specific location, preferably one embedded in the heartland of the nation. Such a target location, being somewhat sparse in population, moderate in climate, and of suitable demographic quality, would be viable as a prospective colonization area. Bear in mind that any and all geographical areas have their own unique drawbacks. To look for the "perfect" place is an exercise in utter futility as it does not exist. What we are talking about is a point on the map that would meet sufficient criterion to make it viable. Some negatives are even a plus factor as a means of tending to keep a great many others from even wanting to migrate to and live in the area in question.

It is important to mention at this juncture that there have been quite a few attempts made over the years to establish covenant communities. These attempts have typically fallen on hard times for a variety of reasons. Often it is the greed of certain parties that leads to the ruination of the project. Another common problem is the lack of a sufficiently broad vision...one that enables the early trailblazers to overcome the hardships, difficulties and disappointments that inevitably arise. One thing is certain, however, and that is the necessity of having a strong church body as the anchor and cornerstone of the evolving community structure. Without this factor there is scarcely any hope for the endeavor to rise in victory over the internal obstacles that will exist from the earliest days of the venture, much less from the external pressures that will be brought to bear against something that represents such a real threat to long term tyranny and enslavement. The Church needs to be on the cutting edge of truth, and must also be willing to serve as a rallying point, inspiration force, and source of leadership to those involved in the colonization effort. Remember, only the church has a divine charter against which the gates of hell are incapable of prevailing. The forces of evil will make a power play in an attempt to destroy any effort the likes of which is being herein envisioned. At that critical moment it is utterly imperative that God’s divine mantle of protection that has been uniquely bestowed upon the Church, should extend over the breadth and parameters of the colonization project. In a later portion of this treatise we will elaborate in more detail regarding the intricacies of the carrying out of relationships and responsibilities within the body of Christ, also known as the Church.

There are multiple millions of people in our nation and throughout the world who assert a serious claim that they are "Bible believing Christians." Such persons, generally speaking, have a testimony which includes past events or circumstances that have brought them into a "personal relationship with Jesus Christ." It is interesting to observe, however, that this large body of individuals demonstrate little aptitude for being able to receive greater, more advanced levels of truth. Their primary motivation and focus centers on being able to maintain status, position, and comfort within the world system while at the same time having an acceptable "Christian testimony." By the diluted standards of the modern Church, such a "testimony" may appear inspiring and valid. When subjected to Biblical analysis, on the other hand, the typical Christian testimony of the day renders the appearance of being luke warm at best. Revelation 3: 15-16 says, "(15) I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot. (16) So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth." It is also interesting to note the words of Matthew 7:21-23 which state, "(21) Not everyone that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven: but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. (22) Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? And in thy name have cast out devils? And in thy name done many wonderful works? (23) And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me , ye that work iniquity." It certainly seems that these passages should constitute cause for the modern, spineless, impotent Church world to reflect soberly as to whether or not such descriptions fit them to a tee! And if such is the case, what action or response might be warranted or called for? Sadly, the average lukewarm, professing Christian is virtually incapable of seeing himself in a proper light. At every turn his watered down, mediocre brand of Christianity is reinforced by the thriving religious and societal institutions that surround him. "I’m OK and you’re OK" is the mentality of the day as the modern Christian world seemingly enjoys the best of both worlds. It never even crosses their minds that they could be the ones who ultimately get spued from the mouth of the Savior, or that they might eventually be on the receiving end of those chilling words, "I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity."

In contrast to the deluded legions of lukewarm professing believers, there exists a much smaller body of persons that the Scripture refers to as the remnant. Romans 11:5 reads, "Even so then at this present time also there is a remnant according to the election of grace." The remnant is made up of those who have refused to bow the knee to Baal. In the time of Elijah, God informed the prophet as to the existence of this remnant element. It is a certainty that they are scattered throughout our contemporary civilization and it is to them that this and other cutting edge messages of radical truth are primarily directed. The remnant individual cannot be content with a spiritual diet of compromise and mediocrity. He is unwilling to live a lie...pretending that the various grim circumstances that surround him don’t really exist...or that they mean something far less ominous than what reality dictates. The remnant person wants to know and possess the truth even when it forces him into a difficult or challenging position of response. Ultimately, he is willing to go to extraordinary lengths in order to walk in obedience to the will and purposes of God.

Another aspect of the character of the remnant Christian individual

is that he is completely resigned to the fact that the earthly odds will always be stacked heavily against him. He knows that God’s way will be that which seems impossible from a human standpoint, and as a consequence, he relies totally on the premise set forth in Matthew 19:26 which reads, "...With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible." Because of his God given ability to discern and appreciate greater truth, the remnant person is favorably equipped to embrace and cultivate a bold and energetic vision for the future. Indeed...it is the Christian remnant type of God’s true Israel people with whom the message of Republica will resonate. These people will not be bound by the unfortunate reality of what we presently are...but instead, will be capable of comprehending what we can eventually become according to the power, riches, mercies, and grace of Jesus Christ our eternal King!

At the present stage of our national, cultural and societal evolution, we are very much besieged by a brand of evil, both institutionalized and spontaneous, that can only be described as thoroughly and completely pervasive. So massive and deeply rooted is this wicked power that the true remnant person can do nothing but grieve and lament such an unfortunate state of affairs. The Bible is clear and unambiguous as to the fate of a nation and people who turn so far and unequivocally from God and his law. To say that America and other nations of the supposed civilized world have an unavoidable, looming date with the executioner is the epitome of an understatement! There can be no doubt that God will pour out his wrath and indignation upon a people who have become such an abomination to him. As has already been pointed out, there is simply no way that reform and rehabilitation can come to the vast majority of what presently comprises our world system. It is fit for nothing but an all consuming and cleansing process of judgement. The true remnant of God must be about the business of preparing for that coming season of purification by fire. To fail in that regard would be the equivalent of a willful suicidal course.

Realizing that the foremost task at hand is the constructing of an ark of survival, the remnant individual should understand with vivid clarity that time is truly of the essence. With the exception of those times when God chooses to step in and momentarily suspend the laws of physics, we are living in a world that is governed by the principle of cause and effect. Certain dreadful phenomena are destined to occur in the days ahead just as sure as the sun will continue to rise in the east. True remnant people must embark upon a definitive plan of action if they harbor any realistic hope of experiencing the deliverance of God in the face of coming peril. While it is certainly most common for fallen man to procrastinate and follow the path of least resistance, it is equally unavoidable that a specific percentage of God’s elect are going to be alert to unique and potential laden opportunity in the coming days. If the message were to be spread that there was a distinct place and location at which God’s remnant people were endeavoring to make an unprecedented stand against the forces of evil, it is quite certain that a great many sincere individuals would find such a matter quite intriguing. Needless to say, much doubt and skepticism would have to be overcome in light of the fact that so many previous efforts of a seemingly similar nature have wound up going nowhere. For those who are properly and genuinely motivated, however, past failures and bad experiences would not prevent them from having sufficient hope and vision as to the possibility of God bringing forth a notable exception to the former rule. Such persons would be capable of looking ahead in a positive manner...knowing that at the right time and place...God is able to work the miraculous on behalf of his people.

While it is true that God does not need any set or specific number of individuals to accomplish his will and work in the earth, it is also a fact that he desires that men bow down before him and follow after his glorious truth. When even limited numbers of persons assume such a cooperative posture of obedience to the God of Scripture, the potential immediately arises for great and momentous events to transpire. It is not inconceivable to imagine a forthcoming scenario in which hundreds, and possibly even thousands of remnant quality persons would be moved and led of God to converge upon a specific point on the map. To sense that the hand of God is mightily at work...that he is bringing to pass circumstances that are fraught with potential for the benefit and survival of his remnant people...and that the call is going forth throughout the land to all those who have been quickened with an ability to recognize and desire to involve themselves in such an opportunity...this is truly exciting and energizing to the aspiring hard core servant of Jesus Christ! Indeed, nothing short of such a migratory influx into a given geographic area would even begin to set the stage for that which needs to be undertaken on behalf of the remnant of God in this highly precarious hour of history. If even a single rural county were to be sufficiently inhabited by those committed to exalting the law and word of God in all their affairs and activities, there is no way to even begin estimating the potential for what God might choose to pour out in the way of favor and blessing upon such an effort. Imagine for a moment what the effect might be of hundreds, or even thousands of remnant people fasting, praying, and crying out to God to afford safety, sanity and protection for that specific portion of real estate that had been consecrated to the honor and service of the Almighty. Yes...the minions of hell would be quick to react in opposition to such an effort...but as Romans 8:31 states, "...If God be for us, who can be against us?"

As we move forward with this treatise on the concept of Republica, we will seek to deal with the reflexive objections that will doubtlessly emanate from those who are of a negative mind set and propensity. One of the great problems of the day is that even those who profess to be the elect remnant Israel people of God, are extremely limited in their ability to exercise faith and cultivate a bold Biblical vision for themselves and their posterity. It is so much easier to sit back and criticize than it is to assume an active and potentially dangerous role on the front lines of the cause of Jesus Christ! At this juncture it would be good for the reader to recall the words of Matthew 10:28 wherein Jesus said, "And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell." Also appropriate are the words of Christ in Matthew 10:38-39 which say, "(38)And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me. (39) He that findeth his life shall lose it: and he that loseth his life for my sake shall find it."

(Note: Additional portions of this work will be posted at a later date.)

“The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness,
and let us put on the armour of light” (Romans 13:12).
